Paramedic Training in Oregon

In order to become a paramedic in the state of Oregon you must complete a EMT training program followed by a Paramedic training program. You must then be licensed and certified after completing and passing the NREMT exam, which will give you Oregon licensure. If you already are a EMT-basic, EMT-intermediate or EMT-paramedic you must pass the Oregon state exams rather than the NREMT. Oregon offers paramedic programs and  an Associate degree in Emergency Medical Services.

Oregon has one of the best websites where they’ve included a lot information regarding EMT and paramedic training. You can for example find  Oregon Paramedic Study Guide which answers around  600 common questions about Paramedics in Oregon.
