Delaware County Community College is offering paramedic training programs near Philadelphia. The college will offer a paramedic training program in partnership with Crozer Keystone Health Systems, giving students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a emergency medical care environment.

Paramedic is in the highest of levels of emergency medical training in Delaware.

The levels are:

  • Emergency Medical Technician – Basic (EMT-B)
  • Emergency Medical Technician – Intermediate (EMT-I)
  • Paramedic (EMT-P)

 

To get the basic education required to become a paramedic in Delaware. You must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.

The Emergency Medical Services of Delaware are under the Division of Public Health under Delaware Health and Human Services. EMTs and Paramedics licensure and certification information are not published. Which means the student must contact the office directly, if they find it necessary.
