Paramedic training is offered at several Idaho schools. Idaho State University offers an Advanced Technical Certificate as well as an Associate of Science degree in Paramedic Science. The College of Southern Idaho offers the Emergency Medical Technician Technical Certificate and the Associate of Science degree in Paramedic Science.
You must first be a certified and licensed EMT-basic & EMT-intermediate before you can enroll in Paramedic training programs found in Idaho.
Idaho requires an EMT or Paramedic candidate to complete and pass the state approved emergency medical program before they can become certified. They must also provide documentation of passingĀ the National Registry Exam. You must also possess a current CPR certification.
