Paramedic Training in Missouri

You can find paramedic and emt training programs being offered at Ozarks Technical Community College and Metropolitan Community College. They both provide an associates degree and certificates .

In order to enrol in paramedic training. You must complete the lower level emt training programs and become certified. You must also be at least 18 years old and possess a valid CPR-card.

A paramedic or emt candidate must pass the state approved EMT training  program which follows the D.O.T. EMT curriculum. The candidate must then pass the Missouri State EMT Practical Exam.

Once the exams are successfully completed, the candidate can then take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician’s Exam (NREMT). You must pass the NREMT before you can become licensed and certified in the state of Missouri. Once completed you may then fill out and submit the Missouri EMT License Application.
