The College of Southern Nevada(CSN) is one of only two schools in the state of Nevada, which offers paramedic training and the school which is closest to Las Vegas. Students at CSN can either enroll in certificate of achievement or an Associate of Applied Science in paramedic medicine.

In order to become a paramedic, you must first become a certified emt-basic and emt-intermediate. You must also be at least 18-years old and possess a CPR-card. You are then required to finish the Paramedic training program, pass the exams and pass the NREMT exam to become nationally registered and certified.
If you are an EMT or Paramedic from another state, you must provide documentation of passing the NREMT in order to apply certification and licensure in the state of Nevada. You must have a valid CPR card and pay the required fee’s.
