There are a few paramedic training programs being provided in New Jersey, you can find them being offered at Camden County College in Blackwood and Hudson County Community College in Jersey City.

To become a paramedic, it’s required that you have completed the EMT-Basic course and become certified. It is generally advised that you also complete the EMT-intermediate course or at least have 2 years of work experience as an EMT. In order to enroll in paramedic training programs. You must be at least 18 years old. Possess a valid CPR card and a High school diploma or equivalent.
In order to become certified and licensed. You must complete and pass the paramedic training program and successfully pass the state approved exams.
