International Paramedic Training

For paramedic training outside of The United states, one is faced with different challenges. First of all every country have their special requirements for getting accepted into an educational institution which provides paramedic training programs. Not only will there be different requirements but also different curriculum and qualification levels.

Therefor if you are a certified paramedic in another country, it will not mean that you can automatically get accepted and work as one, in another country.

For individuals looking to become a paramedic outside of the US, it’s is recommended that they contact their local educational institution since they will be able to best inform you of your options. Some countries provide paramedic training information on the world wide web so do not hesitate in searching there too.

The best advice we can give you is:

1. Search for paramedic training information in your country online.

2. Contact your local educational institution or education offices for information.

3. Meet the following requirements required of you to get accepted into a paramedic training program.

4. Apply to the paramedic training program and successfully complete it.

Are EMT Paramedic License recognized internationally?

The answer is no. Since there are such a wide range of differences of what is considered a paramedic in different countries, it makes it impossible to actually have an international recognized license.
