For individuals looking to become a paramedic in the state of Wisconsin, one may find paramedic training programs being offered at Chippewa Valley Technical College and Fox Valley Technical College.
The requirements to enrol in paramedic training programs are:
It’s also generally advisable that the candidate has worked at least 1 year as a EMT. Although this is not a requirement it would be very valuable for the candidate.
You may also be required to take a Physiology and Anatomy course. The course may be offered separately to the paramedic training program.

The State uses the NREMT exam to certify and license EMT paramedics. The NREMT exam consist of a written and practical exam which is conducted over two days.
There has been made a few adjustments to the NHTSA curriculum for Paramedics. You can find these changes in the Wisconsin Training Curricula.

After successfully completing the NREMT exam you can then fill out and submit the EMT paramedic application form in order to become a licensed and certified paramedic in the state of Wisconsin.
